One of the easiest ways to get started making money online is by purchasing resale rights to a product.

When you purchase resale rights, you get to keep all the profits from sales you make on the product.

Most resale rights come with a certificate that details all the rules and regulations you have.

An easy way to find products that have resale rights is to do a search online for the type of product you are looking for and then add “resale rights” to the end.

There are a few of things you want to look for before you go and purchase any resale rights.

First, make sure that there is a low limit as to how many resale rights will be sold.

You do not want to pay for resale rights on a product that will be resold one thousand times.

If you can find a product that is only allowing one hundred or so resale rights, then this would be a good a investment.

Secondly, make sure you get the entire product and website along with the resale rights.

All top notch resale rights come with the entire product and website.

You will also want to be given any prewritten ad copy to help you sell the product.

Thirdly, you must make sure that product you are purchasing the resale rights to is up to date and current.

You do not want to waste your money on a product that is three years old and has been seen by just about anyone and everybody.

Make sure the product you are buying resale rights for is fairly new.

Most webmasters know that Adsense generates a tremendous source of additional advertising income. That is why most of them use it to go after the best paying keywords. They have with them the lists that tells what the keywords are and have already used various methods of identifying them. And yet, after putting up these supposed-to-be high paying keywords into their pages, the money they expected to come rolling in is not really coming in.

What’s going on? What is it that they are doing wrong?

Having the pages with the proper keywords is one thing. But driving visitors to those pages is another matter and often the factor that is lacking.

The thing is, to get visitors to your high paying keyword pages, you need to optimize your site navigation.

Stop for a moment and think about how visitors are using your website. After a visitor has landed on a certain page, they are likley to click on another page that sounds interesting. They get there because of the other links that appear on a page that they initially landed on. This is site navigation. It is all about enabling visitors to move about your site. And one way of optimizing your Adsense earnings.

A typical website has menu links on each page. The wording on these links is what will get a visitor’s attention and gets them to click on one of the links that will take them to another page of that website. Links that have “free” or “download” are oftentimes good attention-grabbers.

This navigation logic can also be used to drive traffic to your high paying pages. There are some websites that are getting a lot of traffic from search engines, but have low earnings. The trick is to try and use cleverly labeled links to get the visitors off that page and get them to go to the higher earning ones. This is one great way of turning real cheap clicks to real dollars.

Before you begin testing if this same style will work for you and you website, you will need to have two things. Something to track and compare and some high earning pages you want to funnel your site traffic to. One option is to select a few of your frequently visited pages. This is ensuring fast result to come by.

Now, the next thing to do is think of ways to get visitors viewing a particular page to try and click on the link that will take them to your high earning pages. Come up with a catchy description for that link. Come up with a catchy and unique description for the link. Think of something that people do not get to see everyday. That will get them currious enough to try and see what that was all about.

You can also use graphics to grab your readers’ attention. There is no limitation to what you can do to make your link noticeable. If you are after the success of your site, you will do everything it takes just to achieve that goal. Be creative. As far as many Adsense advertisers are concerned, there are no written and unwritten laws to follow regarding what they write. Do not overstep the guidelines of the search engines, then go for it.

Also remember that it is all about location, location and location. Once the perfect attention grabbing description has been achieved, you have to identify the perfect spot on your page to position that descriptive link to your high paying page.

I would recommend visiting other websites to see how they are going about maximizing their site navigation. “Hot pages” or “Most read” lists are very common and are used to death. Get to know the ones that many websites are using and do not try to imitate them.

Another way of doing it is to try and use different texts on different pages. That way you will see the ones that work and what does not. Try to mix things around also. Put links on top and sometimes on the bottom too. This is how you go about testing which ones get more clicks and which ones are being ignored.

Let the testing begin. Testing and tracking until you find the site navigation style that works best for you site.

Soon after I released my last post about the hottest selling ebook on eBay,  the folks at eBay decided to clamp down the selling of digital products. Oh great! There goes my credibility all shot to hell! Here’s an article I found that may give a little light at the end of the tunnel…

On April 1st 2008 Ebay dropped the hatchet on many of those who are selling digital products on their network. While this news devastated some, this is actually good news for legit sellers. This puts the sellers of the 1 penny e-books down for the count. In the past this was a way to greatly manipulate your feedback as well as boost ACRU fees almost devilishly. With that said, the change will actually bring back respectability to Ebay’s digital products section.

As a seller of digital products myself the news at first was scary. However a warmth overcame me shortly as I realized this was actually a very good thing. It seemed far to often with Ebay, that people were selling useless, rehashed and often unfinished low quality products within. Many times these e-books were marketed for a penny and used to build up one’s email list and add extra increases to their feedback score. Most of these type of e-books offered little to no value to the reader whatsoever. Ebay realized the problem and had been working for a while now to put an end to this. Throughout April they expect to clean up their inventory greatly, by removing such gimmicks.

This opened up two options for anyone selling digital products on their network. The options were either to adapt or leave a rich cash harvesting empire behind. Even though Ebay now offers the classified ad feature where you may still place a digital product, most are not willing to go that route. The classified ad option does not allow one to collect feedback, nor are transaction actually done through Ebay. You must now add your own link or Paypal button to make the sale. The other way to still sell an e-book or digital product on Ebay is to have a physical product created with it and offer the digital product on a CD or DVD instead. That option simply isn’t in many marketers line of sight and may in fact, be to expensive.

Time will tell how the classified ad or CD/DVD options fare on Ebay but one thing is for certain this will help clean up much of the manipulation of sales, email accounts and feedback scores. Just the other day I already noticed a decline in amount of e-books and digital products listed on Ebay. If someone was looking to sell digital products on Ebay now is probably the best time. Right after something changes is usually the best time to get in on what is bound to be a good thing.

Making a great living as an affiliate marketer is becoming more and more possible for the average person - regardless of expertise or education.

What’s more it is possible to entirely automate the process of selling online from following up with your prospects through to product sale, delivery and beyond.

Remember, the affiliate sale and after sales process, including support and product delivery are covered by the merchant or product owner. So, if you are an affiliate marketer you can forget about that aspect of your business. This part is already automated as far as you are concerned.

What’s left then? Well, skipping over how you will get visitors to visit your website, there is the small task of following up with leads and prospects.

It would be virtually impossible to do this manually once your web business starts to grow. It may be doable if you are getting 1 to 2 leads per day BUT what happens when this number grows to 10, 20, 50 or maybe even 100 leads per day?

The reason I setup my online business was because I wanted more freedom in my life. If I’m following up with leads all day long then any freedom I have has disappeared.

This is why it is important to me and I’m sure to you to put as much of our business on auto-pilot as possible.

If you setup an email capture form and followup autoresponder to automate the sales process then you can concentrate all your efforts on marketing your website. Your only job then would be to send visitors to your website with your lead capture form. Once they enter your autoresponder the rest is on automatic pilot - from followup through to sale. The end result of which will be affiliate commission checks in your mailbox or bank account. Using autoresponders to sell your affiliate products is an absolute must as far as I am concerned if you are serious about building a successful affiliate business.

Using such services frees up a lot of your time to get on with marketing and developing your business to new and greater heights. At no other time in history has there been an easier way to create automatic income streams than the opportunities being presented to online entrepreneurs. It is up to you to take advantage of the technology available and apply it to your business.

The costs involved are so low that it would be downright idiotic not to get your own affiliate followup system.
