The importance of articles in today’s websites and internet based companies are immeasurable. They dictate a lot in the success and the drive of traffic into one’s site. It has become a key element in making a site work and earns a profit. A website operator and owner must have the good sense to include articles in his or her site that will work for them and earn them the many benefits articles can give to their site.

Articles have been known to be the driving force in driving traffic to a website. Articles are a factor in giving site high rankings in search result pages. The higher a site ranks the bigger slice of the traffic flow pie he gets. With a huge number in traffic flow, there are more profits and more potential for other income generating schemes as well.

But, it is not just about stuffing your site with articles; they have certain requirements as well. These requirements must be met to obtain the maximum benefits an article will provide for your site. A well written article will catch the eyes and interest of your customers and keep them coming back for more. They would also be able to recommend your site to others.

Here are some tips to help you and assist you in making your articles. Below you will read about four things all articles must have to make it successful and helpful in making your site a profit earning and traffic overflowing site.

Keywords and Keyword Phrases.

An article must always be centered on the keywords and keyword phrases. As each website visitor goes to a site, there are those who are just merely browsing but actually looking for a specific something. When this happens, a searcher usually goes to a search engine and types in the keywords they are looking for (e.g. Toyota Camry, Meningitis, Tax Lawyer and Etcetera). It could be anything they want.

The Important thing is that you have an article that has the keywords that are related to your site. For example, if you maintain an auto parts site, you must be able t have articles about cars and their parts. There are many tools in the internet that provides service in helping a webmaster out in determining what keywords and keyword phrases are mostly sought out. You can use this tool to determine what keywords to use and write about.

Keyword Density

Know that you have your keywords and keyword phrases, you must use them fully. An article must have good keyword density for a search engine to “feel” its presence. Articles should at least have ten to fifteen percent of keyword density in their content for search engines to rank a site high in their search results. Getting a high rank is what articles do best for a site.

Keyword density is the number of times a keyword or keyword phrase is used on an article. The number varies depending on the number of words used in an article. An effective article must have a keyword density that is not too high or too low. With a very high density, the essence of the article is lost and may turn off a reader as well as the search engines. It comes off as overeager. A low number may be ignored by the search engines.

Good Article Content

Like what is stated above, you cannot just riddle an article with keywords. They must also be regarded as good reading materials. Articles must be able to entertain people as well as provide good information and help for their needs. Articles should be written well with correct spelling and good grammar. If you want people to trust you, make your work good and well thought out.

People respond well to figures, facts and statistics. Try to get great information and as many facts as you can. A good and well written article will boost your reputation as an expert in your chosen field or topic. As more people believe in you. They will be able to trust you and your products.

Linking Articles

And another important thing to remember. If you are going to submit articles to ezines and/or contribute your articles to newsletters and other sites, DON’T ever forget to include a link to your site. A little resource box with a brief description of your site and you should always be placed right after your articles that you have submitted. If people like your articles, they will most likely click on the link directing them to your site.

Going full-time as an eBay seller is living the dream: making a real income, working from home, being your own boss and all the rest of it. It’s the promise of a million scams, and it’s finally come true - at least for some.

What they don’t tell you in the success stories, though, is that becoming a full-time eBay seller is by no means for everyone. You really, really ought to try it part-time before you even consider taking it up full-time, and even then, caution is advisable. Before you burn your suit, here’s a list of questions you should ask yourself.

1) How Much Do I Earn From eBay Now?

Work out how many hours a week you spend doing eBay-related things (be honest here), and divide it by the average amount of profit you make in a week. If you were doing full-time hours, would you earn as much as you earn now?

2) Do I Have a Good Job?

Think about what you might lose if you give up your job to focus on eBay. If you’re in a well-paid job with good promotion prospects then it’s well worth reconsidering: you might get a few years down the line and wish you’d stayed in your traditional job, as you’d probably be the CEO by now.

3) Would I Really Make Much More Money?

Unless you’re selling a large quantity of small goods, most of what you do on eBay will be waiting for auctions to end - and you can wait at work just as easily as you can at home. This is why whether you would make more money on eBay really depends on what kinds of items you’re selling - for low value items, going full-time could be a good move. For high-value ones, the chances are you’ll hit the limits of how much money you have to invest in inventory long before you hit the limits on your time.

4) Is my Home a Good Place to Work?

Quite apart from anything else, you might find that the dream of home working is more of a nightmare in reality. People can start to depend on you to get things done that need to be done during the day. If you have a wife and children then they can resent the fact that you’re in the house but refuse to have anything to do with them for large parts of the day. Giving in to any of these things and stopping work for a while will cause your profits to fall.

5) Can I Survive if it All Goes Wrong?

In the end, would you be able to get by if you had a month or two where you sold literally nothing? Or would you be desperately looking around for a job and cursing the day you ever discovered eBay? That’s the real test.

If you made it through all these questions, then I guess you’re cut out for the eBay life - and even if you didn’t, you’d be surprised just how far you can get part-time.

Beginning Internet marketers often wonder what the right niche is for them. It is important to understand the difference between a niche and a sub-niche.

A niche can be make money whereas a sub-niche could be make money from home, money making online, and so forth.

Once you understand how many categories a niche can have, you can be better prepared to choose a sub-niche that you can market to your target audience.

It is important to realize, in most cases anyway, that the niche you choose has probably already been done dozens of times unless it is something truly new.

That’s why specializing in a sub-niche is so important, but even then you must have something different to offer visitors to your web site.

For example, if the niche you choose is work at home and your sub-niche is work at home opportunities, what can you offer your visitors that other sites don’t? Think about all the issues that surround work at home opportunities and you might hit on something that few sites will have information about.

Common Beginning Internet Marketers Question

“How do I know a niche or sub-niche is right for me?”

The easiest answer is do what you like. In other words, if you love to get paid for doing surveys online and you have accumulated a bit of knowledge about this subject, then this could be your niche.

If you love a certain subject and are passionate about it you are more likely to stick with it through the various struggles every Internet marketer encounters. Not only that, but your passion will show in your work and you will be far more successful than if you were to choose a niche about something for which you have no personal feelings. It’s just the way it works.

Often, when people have a hard time finding a niche they really like, it is because they have overlooked what it is they are already passionate about. They simply don’t realize they already have a marketable idea.

This is understandable so the easiest way to remedy that problem is to do a keyword search of the niche you’re already interested in. Maybe it is your hobby or a cause that you care about and you just haven’t thought about it in terms of a marketable idea before.

Remember, when you do a keyword search you don’t want to choose a niche that is already saturated. If too many search results come up, this means many people are probably already marketing within that particular niche so it may not be as profitable.

Still, you can use those searches to see what isn’t offered, which may, in fact, turn into a profitable sub-niche for you. While fewer search results gives you room to grow, you don’t want to choose a niche that no one is interested in.

Although less competition may be more attractive in the beginning, you want to choose a niche that people are already interested in. Try to do around ten keyword searches and than take the best five keywords and break them down into sub-niches. The sub-niches are where you will make the most profit because you will be able to target your audience. Take a moment to consider the following example:

Let’s say your niche is leads and your sub-niche is home business leads. When people search for leads or home business leads, they are liable to come upon your site. However, you can specialize even more. You don’t have to stop there though, as you can break it down into home business lead generation or home business lead broker and so on.

No matter which niche you choose, though, make sure it is something you truly care about because your writing be be a reflection of your true attitude throughout the site.

This is part 3 of 30 Profit Generating Tips. Most of these may not be anything new, but if they spark some new ideas then more power to ya!

21. Use the word “new” in your ad. People want
new products or services that will improve their lives
like new information, tastes, technology, results, etc.
For example, you could say, “Learn a new
revolutionary way to lose weight!” Another example
would be, “New! Just Released!…”

22. Show your prospects how much enthusiasm
you have for your product and business. If you’re
convincing enough, they will be enthusiastic too.
For example, you could say, “I’m so EXCITED
about our new product!” Another example would
be, “I can’t wait for you to experience these benefits!”

23. End your sales letter or ad copy with a strong
closing. It could be a free bonus, a discount price,
a benefit reminder, an ordering deadline, etc. For
example, you could say, “P.S. Remember, you’ll
get 5 bonuses valued at $245!” Another example
would be, “P.S. Like mentioned earlier, if you order
today you’ll get 45% off!”

24. Please your complaining customers. You can
refund their money, give them a discount, give them
a free gift, solve the problem quickly, etc. For
example, you could say, “I understand how you
must feel, so I’m giving you a complete refund.”
Another example would be, “I’ve been in your
shoes before. I’m going to give you a 50% discount
on your next purchase.”

25. Make your customers get excited about your
business and they will tell their friends. Give them a
free vacation certificate, a coupon, etc. For
example, you could say, “Get a FREE vacation to
(the location)! Another example would be, “You
will also get a $200 coupon to our next event!”

26. Give your prospects extra confidence so they
will order. Use endorsements, testimonials, a
strong guarantee or warranty, etc. For example,
you could say, “I’m going to allow you to try out
our product for a full 60 days without billing your
card!”

27. Build your opt-in list by allowing your visitors
to sign up for a free e-zine, e-books, software,
contests, sweepstakes, etc. For example, you could
say, “Subscribe to our free e-zine and get entry into
our weekly contest!” Another example would be,
“Sign up to our free newsletter and get 10 surprise
bonuses!”

28. Give your prospects or customers a breath of
fresh air. Don’t be afraid to design your web site
and ad copies to be different from everyone else’s.
For example, you could apply a circus theme to
your web site. Another example would be to design
your web site like an e-book with a table of contents,
title page, glossary, etc.

29. Allow your customers to get part of your total
offer right after they order. If you have to ship the
item, make one of your bonuses available online.
For example, if you are selling a printed book, you
could have an online version available for them to
read right after they order.

30. Write and submit articles to e-zine publishers
or webmasters. If you want it to be published, it
should read like an article and not like an ad. You
could also offer the publisher extra incentives like
giving them a freebie, affiliate commissions,
compliments, original content, etc.
